Episode 4: Shawn Reeder
This episode of the FOLIO Podcast features an inspirational conversation with Shawn Reeder. Shawn is a perfect fit for the FOLIO podcast as he lives an artful life in an all-encompassing fashion. In addition to being a destination photographer specializing in landscape, adventure, lifestyle, wedding and portrait photography, Shawn is also an accomplished musician, skilled rock climber and film maker. In fact, the music you hear on the intro to this episode (and the full version on the outro) is Shawn’s own creation — and is available on the Royalty Free music website he founded and currently manages — Shawn Reeder Music.
You can view Shawn’s full body of work, and find links to his blog and individual portfolios at his main website.

Shawn believes that “life is art…and the art of life is the most important and most sacred art to focus on.” Join me for an enlightening and enjoyable conversation with Shawn Reeder.

Hi Scott,
Just found your podcast and had to let you know that your interviewing style is just great, you can tell you really care so much about the art and about the artists you talk with.
It is very refreshing to me, I’ve learnt so much already and love how I can get ideas and inspiration to help me in my journey of photography.
I’m still pretty new to it and have a really tough time learning, I also haven’t found my area to focus on in photography as yet and if I can even tolerate just one journey if you will, but I am determined either way to share my passion one day with others as you do on your show and yes maybe give back as well.
Take Care and keep up the great work,
Sincerely,
Paul Prior
p.s- Shawn Reeder is someone I found to be just a great guy, very genuine and talented, I hope one day to get some tips/advice from such a great artist as Shawn.
Thanks again
